See With Fresh Eyes

Connection Through Communication

About the Workshop

About the Workshop

Connection is a basic need of both humans and horses.  It is through learning to communicate with the four levels of listening that we can embrace true connection.

  • Listening from habit – being aware of our judgement
  • Listening from outside – noticing differences with an open mind
  • Listening from within – emotional connection with an open heart
  • Listening from source – the emerging future with an open will.

In this powerful workshop, you will be introduced to the four levels of listening and begin the process of developing an awareness of “how” you are listening and cultivate the ability to listen in all four ways.

“It’s not at all hard to understand a person; it’s only hard to listen without bias.”
Criss Jami, Killosophy

The horses support you in rediscovering your innate ability, enabling you to deepen your sensitivity and ability to pay attention to yourself and to others. For you to become present in a way you have not being used to being present. Through their body language the horses give explicit feedback about how they are feeling, unlike people who can shut down and back away internally and you would never know. You will take your experiences learned with the horses into the group for exploration, rediscovering how it feels to be connected. By changing the way you perceive things you will change the things which you perceive.

This one day workshop will create an opportunity for you to:

  • Experience yourself and those around you in a new way
  • Enter a mindful practice of being you can use anywhere any time
  • Experience a nurturing way of self-reflection
  • Learn to interact with the world through all your zones of awareness
  • Cultivate a deeper listening allowing you to see with fresh eyes
